I teach and write about journalism ethics. I'm particularly interested in what excellence means in online journalism and the ethical challenges that make excellent work difficult. My book Excellence in Online Journalism (Sage, 2011) focused on those topics. I'm happiest when I'm blending the best work of ethics scholars with the best thinking of smart journalists.
